The Sessions
Expect to be at the center of the experience.

Step1: The Consultation
A conversation, on the phone or online, to talk about what you want from the shoot, explain the process, answer your questions, and work out the details.

Step 2: The Shoot
This is your time to shine. Most shoots last 2 or 3 hours and happen in the studio. Extended, outdoor and on-location shoots can be added.
Step 3: The Big Moment
Online or in our studio, we meet to reveal the finished art from your shoot in a gorgeous digital gallery and place orders for prints.

About me
Hello.
I'm Marisa Train, a newborn, maternity and family photographer based on the Jersey Shore. After graduating from the New York Institute of Photography I studied under Harvey Lloyd which led to booking product, commercial and portrait work for corporate clients and ad agencies in and around New York City.
My work from this time was published by CNN, CBS, ABC, New York Magazine, Buzzfeed and the book Toy Time, by Christopher Byrne.

I turned my lens towards my own children and realized how important and special it is to capture them as they grow and blossom. Now I work exclusively as a newborn, maternity and family photographer - bringing my commercial and portrait aesthetic into a family setting.

My studio is in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, where I live with my husband and 3 young children.
